Florida Core Competencies for Practitioners
This training is for all early learning instructors working with children ages birth to five years old. Participants will use the Core Competencies for Practitioners as a reference guide to implement best practices as teacher in the field of early care and education. The core knowledge areas for practioners are:
- Health, Safety and Nutrition
- Child Development and Learning
- Building Family and Community Relationships
- Teaching and Learning Environments and Interactions
- Observing, Documenting, Screening and Assessing to Support Young Children and Their Families
