Sensational Sensory Play

Sensory play is currently seen as one of the key areas of play for babies and young children and a crucial part of their development. Sensory play involves the use of one or more of the seven senses: touch, sight, smell, taste, hearing, vestibular or proprioception. Join us in this exciting training and learn the latest research on sensory process disorders and what caregivers can do to help. Participants will discuss various ways children expand their exploration of the world through their senses. Teachers will be able to experiment with activities that will enhance sensory abilities.

.3 CEU's will be offered with this training. If requesting CEUs, bring $10 cash or money order to training. If you have questions about this training, contact Training Specialist, Dawn Harvey-Espinoza at d.harvey@phelc.org or 352-834-0052 ext. 111.
